Garment Technologist - Menswear

A leading streetwear brand that gains inspiration from the UK’s urban scene coupled with musical influences requires a Garment Technologist to join their creative teams. You will be working closely with the Designers and Production to develop products which are fit for purpose.

The role:

• Creating workbooks for all styles including construction methods and graded specs
• Send amendments to fit to suppliers
• Assist with the checking of submissions sent from the factories including lab dips, bulk fabric and print submissions
• Review and update fit blocks and grades
• Liaise with Design team to offer technical guidance on product development
• General day to day organisation is required, including organising samples, archiving old samples & creating/removing submission files
• Support with managing log of brand returns
• Communicating with factories to ensure the production process is on track

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, ambitious individual to join a fast growing streetwear brand. You’ll play a key role in developing the products from initial design stage all the way through to delivery. They are looking for an organised, self-motivator who can take ownership of their responsibilities whilst working closely with the rest of the design team.
