This SME business are looking for a Head of Production & QA to join their busy team. You will undoubtedly be a key member of the team, fully managing the production and factory base in the Far East and supporting the Director.

The Head of Production & QA Responsibilities

• Managing the office including the merchandising, design and QA teams
• Negotiating costings with the factories, ensuring the best margins are achieved
• Overseeing imports and tracking shipment, resolving any issues independently
• Working with the freight forwarders, achieving the best prices and most efficient methods
• Approving invoices before payment
• Factory audit management
• Sourcing components and fabrics and ensuring rigorous testing
• KPI analysis
• Full independent critical path management
• Having design and sign off meetings with the Director

The Head of Production & QA Skills and Attributes

• Proven experience managing and leading a team
• Experience with testing, managing factories, critical path management and costing with the factories is essential
• Determined, self-motivated and more than happy to get stuck into all areas of the business where necessary
