Junior Account manager

Our client, a leading fashion manufacturer, is seeking a Junior Account Manager to join their growing team and support senior sales leadership across key fashion retail accounts.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially aware and highly organised individual with previous experience working for a fashion supplier, or retailer in a similar account management or sales support role. Candidates with experience managing both short and long lead-time projects within the fashion industry will be particularly well suited to this position.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships, coordinating product development and critical path timelines, and ensuring the smooth delivery of projects from concept through to production.
The ideal candidate will be trend-aware, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced fashion environment where managing multiple priorities is essential.
This is a full-time, office-based role, Monday to Friday.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Sales Manager across key fashion retail and customer accounts
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients to ensure excellent service and repeat business
  • Manage and coordinate critical path timelines across multiple projects and product categories
  • Liaise closely with internal teams including design, production, merchandising, and logistics to ensure deadlines are met
  • Monitor orders from development through to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely execution
  • Respond promptly to client requests, queries, and updates
  • Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements within the fashion industry
  • Assist with product development, costing, and sample coordination where required
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Support multi-region projects and customer accounts where required

Person Specification

  • Previous experience working for a fashion supplier, manufacturer, or retailer in a similar account management, merchandising, or sales support role
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within the fashion industry
  • Strong understanding of the garment production process and critical path management
  • Experience managing both short and long lead-time projects
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building abilities
  • Commercially aware and trend-focused with a proactive attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • A team player with a flexible and hands-on approach to work
