Junior Footwear Designer

• Salary: £22,000 – 28,000 dependent on experience

Main purpose of the Job:

• Responsible for researching and designing shoes for future seasons in line with each individual brand’s DNA

Key Tasks:

• Research and fashion forecasting for future seasons
• Working with the brands for direction and approvals
• Design and development of new and existing styles
• Sample control (development through to CFM) including all line sheets and photography.
• Completing specification sheets for factories (development, CFM and production)
• CAD & illustration
• Working closely with factories (contact regarding all developments to CFM samples)
• Organising incoming and outgoing deliveries by courier
• Working with Salesman to build collections (make sure they have everything required for client meetings)
• Helping manage the showroom and keeping it presentable and ready for meetings
• Potential for travel to Far East and within Europe
