Kitchen Porter – Keep Our Kitchens Running Smoothly with Britain’s Oldest Brewer!

As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the kitchen team, ensuring everything runs efficiently behind the scenes. Your hard work and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Where You’ll Be Working

Known by locals as Village HQ, the George & Dragon is a traditional English pub with a menu that celebrates the absolute best of British. A large, open garden space is perfect for summer evenings. For our sports lovers we have indoor and outdoor TV’s screening all the latest live sports.

What You’ll Do

Wash and maintain kitchen equipment, crockery, and utensils to the highest standards.

Keep kitchen areas clean, tidy, and compliant with hygiene and safety regulations.

Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required.

Manage waste disposal and recycling responsibly.

Work as part of a team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
