Merchandising & Sourcing Manager

Opportunity to join a successful supplier of ladieswear, menswear and childrenswear multiproduct categories who supply to major retailers.

This is a role for an experienced Merchandising & Sourcing Manager. You should have a strong commercial eye, excellent communication skills, working closely with the Design Director, and reporting to the MD, you should also be confident presenting to Buyers and Directors at all levels.

This role is 5 days a week onsite.

Must be eligible to work in Bangladesh.

About the role:

• This role will see you involved in weekly sales analysis, trade, and stock reports, as well as full critical path management of production from the BD factory.
• To succeed in this position, you’ll need experience working  merchandising / sourcing within the fashion industry. Strong written, verbal, analytical and numeracy skills are also required.
• Solid knowledge at intermediate to advance level of working with Excel and formulas to manage data sheets.
• Target and secure new business leads in the domestic market that align with the business growth strategy.
• Previous experience of managing a team.

Responsible for all types of sourcing and skills to  cost-saving , create competitive environments, effectively negotiation.

Regular meeting with  merchandising team for reviewing the critical path,  ensure all the orders are on time shipment.

Support the merchandising team to develop the samples efficiently

Expand the network of sales and sourcing to reduce the costing to get more competitive.
