QA Manager

THE ROLE:

This role requires a well organised, confident,  independent, responsible for monitoring and ensuring high-quality standards from production, inspection processes and supervising  staff, rich experience & knowledge on production procedure , garment, fabric character and testing.

This role is 5 days per week onsite.

Must  be eligible to work in Bangladesh.

Responsibilities:

Must read each customer's manual and testing manual carefully to understand the requirement and standard.

Ensure to collect all bulk orders, inspection information and customer approval samples

Ensure that the QA team verifies that all fabrics, accessories, printing, embroidery, packaging accessories, etc. arrive at the factory on time and are correct before production. (All contents , barcodes, etc. must be checked and scanned)

Manage the daily work of the QA team. The team goes to the factory from time to time every day to check the construction /quality /performance of the garments (including semi-finished products, initial stage, medium stage, final stage and packing), prepare inspection reports with photos.

The QA manager needs to review the inspection report of each order especially ensure the safety of children's clothing orders, and provide the report to the merchandising team for approval, so as to notify the logistics department to arrange shipment

Regularly update the critical path/production progress  to the merchandising team, ensuring production on schedule

Follow up each order completes all tests on time as well as meets customer’s standards, and submits test reports to merchandising teams.

Regular meetings with the QA team, merchandising teams and factory production supervisors are required to ensure that all processes are smooth.

Sending the packaging list to logistic department for shipment booking.

If there are quality or production issues, QA manager has the ability to solve them immediately and report to the merchandising team immediately.

For all product quality structure and size specifications, will keep to review and advise the improvement for future.

The Candidate:

• Previous experience within Fashion Industry.
• Ability to solve any urgent issue arising from the quality assurance / production immediately..
• Knowledge of garment construction, fit, quality assurance, wash/care instructions and an understanding of patterns.
• Knowledge of testing operation
• Proficient in all Microsoft Packages particular Excel.
