Reebok EU are looking for a highly commercial and hands-on Retail Merchandiser to take full ownership of assortment planning, inventory management, and in-store execution across our factory outlet stores in Paris and Amsterdam. This role combines strategic planning with day-to-day trading ownership - the successful candidate will be responsible for building the right assortment, driving inventory turns, managing pricing and discounting, and ensuring best-in-class visual merchandising, ultimately maximising sell-through and margin recovery in an outlet environment.
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
- Own and deliver the full P&L performance for both outlet stores, driving sales, margin, and profitability in line with budget and forecast targets.
- Build and manage outlet-specific assortment plans aligned with commercial targets, owning buying decisions to ensure the right product mix to maximise sell-through and margin.
- Lead inventory planning across both stores, driving inventory turns through effective allocation, replenishment, and stock management.
- Develop and execute a pricing architecture for the outlet channel, including markdown and discounting strategy, promotional cadence, and clearance activity.
- Monitor daily and weekly trading performance, tracking key KPIs (sales, margin, sell-through, stock turn, conversion) and producing clear, actionable trading reports.
- Own visual merchandising strategy and execution across both stores, partnering with store teams to implement commercial layouts and ensure high VM standards.
- Work cross-functionally with supply chain, warehouse, and brand teams to manage stock flow, align on inventory opportunities, and drive commercial priorities.
- Support the CSO and Head of Merchandising with inventory management, product master data, commercial reviews, and management reporting.
Person Specification:
- Experience in retail merchandising, preferably in outlet or off-price environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive commercial decisions.
- Proven experience in inventory planning, pricing, and markdown management.
- Commercial mindset with a strong understanding of retail KPIs.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
