Security Shift Manager

Job Description

Manage and lead the security team, ensuring clear direction, feedback, and development.

Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with aviation security regulations.

Plan and monitor labour hours, ensuring coverage within budget.

Handle administrative tasks

Liaise with managers and stakeholders to maintain compliance and resolve issues.

Prepare for audits and inspections, ensuring SOPs and compliance standards are met.

Provide accurate reports on productivity, compliance, and KPIs.

Drive continuous improvement and problem resolution.

Build strong relationships across departments and act as a role model.

Qualifications

Proven leadership skills with a proactive, problem‑solving attitude.

Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

Ability to motivate and mentor staff, fostering a cohesive team

Ability to promote safety and security culture.

Attention to detail with a data‑driven approach.

Flexible thinker, able to adapt to change and tight schedules.

Proficiency in Excel and strong reporting skills.

Financial awareness to support budgeting and reporting.

Previous experience in aviation security and compliance is desirable
