Our clients are looking for sales professionals with corporatewear / workwear or garment experience. This is a hybrid role so location isn't a critical factor but would need to visit office in the Midlands .
The role of the Business Development Manager is to be at the forefront of developing relationships with potential and existing clients to generate new business revenue. This is done through the identification, nurturing and conversion of prospects who require a managed uniform service, and to support the Account Management team in retaining and growing existing client accounts.
Accountable for the achievement of a new business sales and profit targets from specified prospective clients within the sales pipeline.
Identify target potential clients within key target sectors, and develop and sell a tailored service package that meets the needs of the client and the commercial targets required by the business.
Execute the full sales lifecycle from opening a dialogue and nurturing the relationship through to negotiation of prices, agreeing the service package and negotiating contracts and other details to close the deal.
Prepare business proposals in the form of written proposals, prequalification documents and tender submissions ensuring that they accurately reflect the services and pricing required, and are completed within the specified timescales.
You must be highly motivated , resilient with a proven track record in new business and working knowledge of the sales lifecycle , researching , prospecting , sales planning , negotiation and closing skills
