Main Responsibilities will include:
- Lead the design of seasonal capsule collections across evening and occasion dresses
- Create compelling colour palettes, key shapes, and fabric direction aligned with brand strategy
- Use your commercial eye to spot and translate global trends into standout, sellable product
- Collaborate with sales and buying teams to ensure the product vision is aligned and driven forward
- Source and develop new fabrics and trims that elevate the collection
- Produce mood boards, seasonal trend packs, and present ideas confidently to senior management
- Deliver weekly insights on competitor and market trends
- Work closely with internal teams to turn creative concepts into commercially viable designs
Person Specifications:
- Previous experience designing womenswear, ideally with a focus on dresses or occasionwear.
- Proven ability to design into a fast-paced, trend-driven environment
- Strong technical and creative CAD skills (especially Illustrator)
- A sharp eye for detail, colour, silhouette, and fabric
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
- A self-starter with genuine enthusiasm and a positive attitude
