Senior Garment Technologist

A contemporary womenswear brand is looking for a hands-on Senior Garment Technologist to lead the technical team and drive product excellence from concept to production.

This role is ideal for a collaborative, organised professional who thrives on problem-solving and delivering high-quality results. You’ll work closely with Design, Buying, and Production teams to ensure garments meet brand standards for fit, quality, and performance, while also managing supplier relationships and supporting continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of technologists, providing guidance and fostering a positive, solution-focused culture.

• Oversee fit, construction, and product approval processes across ranges.

• Manage supplier relationships and resolve technical or quality issues.

• Maintain accurate product data in PLM systems and approve material test reports.

• Support sustainable sourcing initiatives and ensure compliance with brand standards.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven womenswear technologist experience, ideally at a senior level.

• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Commercially aware with understanding of materials, production, and cost.

• PLM system experience advantageous.
