Social Media Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Media Manager to lead the day-to-day content strategy, planning and delivery across social and digital channels for a leading jewellery, watches, and gifting brand. This role is responsible for driving brand visibility, engagement, audience growth, and conversion through platform-native, commercially focused content.

Working cross-functionally with creative, brand, talent, ecommerce and trading teams, you will ensure content remains culturally relevant, trend-led and performance-driven while helping shape a high-performing content function.

Based in the Manchester office with hybrid working available.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Develop and execute the day-to-day social and digital content strategy, ensuring alignment with brand, campaign and commercial objectives.
  • Own and manage the content calendar across key platforms, balancing planned activity with reactive, trend-led opportunities.
  • Lead the creation and delivery of engaging, platform-specific content across channels including TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and emerging platforms.
  • Drive social engagement, audience growth, reach and conversion through high-performing content and community-focused initiatives.
  • Collaborate with ecommerce, trading, creative and brand teams to support product launches, campaigns and customer acquisition goals.
  • Monitor content performance, analyse key metrics and provide actionable insights to optimise strategy and creative output.
  • Manage and support content creators, freelancers and external partners, ensuring high-quality delivery and efficient workflows.
  • Identify emerging trends, competitor activity and new platform opportunities to maintain a strong and relevant social presence.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in Social Media, Content Management or Digital Content roles within a fast-paced fashion, beauty, jewellery, lifestyle or D2C environment.
  • Strong understanding of social-first content creation, platform behaviours and digital storytelling.
  • Demonstrated success delivering high-volume, high-performing content across multiple social channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using social insights, engagement metrics and performance reporting to inform decisions.
  • Experience managing creators, freelancers or junior team members and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, commercially aware and able to thrive in a fast-moving, reactive environment with a collaborative and proactive approach.
