As a Sous Chef, you’ll play a key leadership role in the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef and leading the team to deliver exceptional quality and consistency. Where You’ll Be Working

Situated on the magnificent clifftop at Kingsgate, the Botany Bay Hotel in Broadstairs, Kent, is the perfect destination for a seaside escape. The stylish coastal retreat overlooks 200 metres of golden sands, stunning cliffs and rock pools. Guests can stay in one of the 30 en-suite bedrooms, enjoy a drink in the lounge bar or sample some delicious food in the restaurant.

What You’ll Do

Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and team leadership.

Take responsibility for sections of the kitchen, ensuring dishes meet company standards.

Mentor and develop junior chefs, fostering a positive and productive environment.

Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and compliance at all times.

Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal specials.

Help with stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation.
