Established Branch Merchandiser

Our Client is a design led womenswear brand that has grown from strength to strength since its conception, without compromising its integrity as a trusted retailer and a market leader.  They currently have an opportunity for an Established Branch Merchandiser on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. You will be report into the Head of Merchandising and will manage a small team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading the branch merchandising team.
  • First point of contact for Head of UK and International retail and RM’s.
  • Key point of contact for projects such as helping to shape the new ERP system to deliver greater stock efficiency.
  • Support Branch Merchandising to review and improve existing grading, planning and reporting. Responsible for delivering timely and appropriate stock builds for an ambitious programme of store openings and refreshes.

Key Skills:

  • Commercial with strong trading skills, recognises opportunity and risk, and flags to Head of Merchandising with a range of options.
  • Proactive, good at forward planning ensuring critical path and meetings deadlines are hit.
  • Excellent communication skills – the role involves contact with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Calm and organised; this role is fast paced often with short deadlines.
  • Positive can-do attitude – problem solving skills are key.
  • Managerial experience with a focus on team development and empowerment.
