Prioritising the daily workload of our 3rd Party Logistics partners. Identifying any problems, escalating them as appropriate and helping to get the issues resolved.
Holding weekly meetings with Wholesale to understand their customer priorities and to discuss any problem deliveries, stock shortages or customers on hold.
Maintaining an accurate stock picture. Identify stock quantity discrepancies between internal IT systems and 3'' Party logistics systems. Understand the reasons for the discrepancies and resolve as appropriate.

As stock is received into the warehouse ensure that it is appropriately divided between retail and wholesale
Micromanage non-standard orders to ensure customer expectations are met.
Provide a monthly forecast of expected wholesale/franchise revenue (i.e. given the customer order book, the expected supplier deliveries and the warehouse pick, pack and ship capacity, estimate the value of goods to be shipped and invoiced during the next 4 to 6 weeks).
Provide a weekly update on Seasonal shipping. Each season is divided into at least 3 drops that have very specific delivery window dates.
Manage and prioritise the UK van deliveries. The business has a van and driver based at the London head office. Ad-hoc administration (including making sure import certificates are up to date, van insurance/congestion charge is dealt with etc).
Make sure other teams are doing their system admin correctly to prevent future shipping mistakes (for example: missing or invalid VAT codes or commodity codes, incorrect pricing etc.).
Manage stock and reordering of packaging materials and branded stationary.
Manage frequent ad-hoc shipping requirements (this will range from finding temporary warehouses, urgent shipments, handbag emergencies etc.).
Attend the weekly cross-departmental meeting to ensure visibility of all future projects and possible impact on logistics.
Working with our IT team to help test releases of existing (and new) software and getting them implemented across the business in a timely manner.

Personal Qualities & Qualifications

Educated to degree level with at least 5 years' experience of running a logistics department.
An interest in luxury fashion and/or retail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A self-motivated, organised individual with a strong eye for detail and diligence in seeing tasks through to completion.
Strong analytical skills, with a natural ability to problem solve.
