As one of Ireland’s longest established jewellery manufacturing and wholesale companies. Our client is a second-generation family business based in Dublin city serving Ireland, the UK and the USA.
In 2014 the business secured an exclusive licence agreement granting sole access to the only commercial gold mine in Ireland and the British Isles.
Soon after securing this licence, the HOUSE OF LOR brand was conceived and a range of Heritage & Contemporary jewellery all containing a piece of Pure Irish Gold were released to market.
One year after the brand was launched in Ireland and the United States, and in line with the company’s brand development strategy the brand was successfully launched at key trade events in the United Kingdom.
In keeping with expectation for the brand in the UK, there were plans to keep pace with demand by partnering closely with a third-party distribution company. For a variety of reasons beyond our client’s control, this partnership did not materialise.
As sales continue to strengthen, and appetites for the brand’s unique selling points gains traction, our client wishes to appoint their first dedicated UK based Sales Representative to assist in driving sales and brand awareness.
With a reputation in their home market and the USA for supplying their retailer partners with unrivalled customer service - this mantra of high level support must be one that will resonate with yourself.
You should have significant sales experience and be capable of consolidating and developing business with existing customers whist paying particular attention to identifying and establishing new customers.
You will be self-motivated, able to make good commercial judgements and utilise your planning / organisational skills to achieve sales objectives.
It would be most beneficial if you were experienced in selling directly to Independently owned Retail Jewellers and multiples. Your sales style should be empathy rich with a steely determination and capable of building a mutually respectful relationship with your clients.
Our client appreciates the need for detailed product training and induction, and will take the same care and guidance of you as they have done for their established Irish Wholesale Sales team.
Marketing support has continued uninterrupted with participation in August at one leading buying group trade show. The company plans to further support the brand and sales channels through other trade events in the UK during 2018/2019.
