This well established multi-channel retailer is currently seeking an Assistant Procurement Manager to support the Head of Procurement with implementing global procurement strategies. To be successful in this role you must have experience of:

  • Working within a fast paced retail procurement department
  • Implementing procurement procedures
  • Delivering savings to the business
  • Managing the delivery of key contracts
  • Overseeing tenders and negotiating prices
  • Supplier relationship management
  • Analysing improvements, total annual spend and service delivery
  • Reporting and managing data
  • Stakeholder management

You must have category management experience and you will be results driven with strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills. You must also be highly commercial and analytical, working well in a pressurised environment with big budgets.
